Rapunzel

Vor einiger Zeit lief Rapunzel – Neu veföhnt im deutschen Fernsehen (klasse Film!). Ich habe ihn aufgenommen und seit dem mehrfach gesehen. Irgendwann kam mir dann die Inspiration für diese Kette.

Der geflochtene Teil steht für Rapunzels Haare, der eingefasste Rivoli für ihre grossen, grünen Augen und das lilafarbene Band für ihr Kleid.

Sometime ago they showed Tangled on a german TV channel (great movie!). I recorded it and have watched several times since then. After a while I had the inspiration for this necklace.

The braided part represents Rapunzel hair, the bezeled rivoli stands for her big, green eyes and the purple band for her dress.

Hace algún tiempo pusieron Enredados en un canal alemán (buena pelicula!). Lo grabe y desde entonces lo he visto varias veces. En un momento dado tuve la inspiración para este collar.

La parte trenzada representa el pelo de Rapunzel, el rivoli engastado sus ojos grandes y verdes y la cinta lila su vestido.

Herz/ Heart/ Corazon

Da sich der nächste Valentinstag nähert, wollte ich ein Stück designen, das dazu passt. Von den Ideen, die ich hatte, schien mir diese am besten zu sein.

Since the next Valentines-Day is approaching I wanted to design a piece fitting the ocasion. Of the ideas I had concerning that issue, this one seemed the best.

Irisch verknotet / Irishly knotet / Anudado al estilo irlandes

Vor einer Weile habe ich eine kompliziertere Version des keltischen Knotens gesehen. Nun habe ich endlich mein eigenes Exemplar fertig gestellt, das ich nun präsentiere.

A while ago I saw a more komplex version of the celtic knot. Now I finally finished my own piece that I am showing now.

Tiempo atrás vi una version más compleja del nudo celta. Ahora por fin he completado mi propio ejemplar, que les estoy mostrando.

Burgos

Dieses Set habe ich mit einer leicht variierten Form von RAW angefertigt, mit je zwei Rocailles pro Seite.  Das Aussehen des Bandes war ursprünglich nicht so beabsichtigt aber mir gefällt es, wie es ist.

Hice este conjunto empleando una ligera variación de la Tecnica RAW, poniendo dos rocallas en cada eje en vez de una sola. El aspecto de la cinta no es él que tenia en mente al principio pero me gusta como ha quedado.

I made this set in a slightly modified form of RAW, putting two seed beads on each edge instead of one. The look of the band didn't turn like I had expected, but I like it.

Jormungand

Nach langer Arbeit und einigen Fehlversuchen, präsentiere ich euch Jormungand, die Midgardschlange. Basierend auf einem Bild auf das bei der Suche nach Inspirationen für den Comicladen stieß, fing ich an einen keltischen Knoten in 3D RAW zu modifizieren. Besonders der Drachenkopf war eine Herausforderung.

Despues de mucho trabajo y algunos intentos fallidos, os presento Jormungand, la serpiente de Midgard. Basandome en una imagen con la que me tope cuando estaba buscando ideas para la tienda de comics, empecé a modificar un nudo celta hecho en la tecnica 3D RAW. La cabeza del dragon resultó ser todo un reto.

After a lot of work and several failed attempts, I bring you Jormungand, the snake from Midgard.

Based on a picture I found while searching for ideas for the comic-store I started to modify a celtic knot made with the 3D RAW technique. Specially the head of the dragon turned out to be quite the challenge.

Keltischer Knoten in RAW 3D/ Celtic Knot in RAW 3D/ Nudo Celta RAW 3D

Nach dem flachen „Knoten“ beschloss ich eine dreidimensionale Version zu erschaffen, um die Vorteile der beiden bisher gezeigten Versionen zu kombinieren.

After making the flat „knot“ I decided to create a tridemsional version, to combine the advantages of the two previous versions.

Después de hacer el „nudo“ plano decidi crear una version tridimensional, para combinar las ventajas de las dos versiones anteriores.
